We understand that visualising your new space can be difficult when you’re only looking at 2D architectural drawings. To make things clearer, we encourage you to step into the loft during the build itself. This hands-on approach allows us to explore the space together and make informed decisions on key elements such as window placement, lighting and electrical layouts, plumbing, and internal configuration. By experiencing the scale and feel of the space in real time, you’re better equipped to tailor the layout to suit your needs—often leading to smarter, more satisfying results.

Director

With over 20 years in the loft conversion industry, I bring hands-on experience and a genuine passion for design, art, and architecture to every project. My journey began as a labourer after a brief stint in the media world, and I’ve never looked back. I’m not just the director — you’ll find me on the tools, meeting with clients, problem-solving on-site, and making sure every loft we create is both beautiful and brilliantly built.

Justin

Second Fix Carpentry Specialist

Justin is our second fix expert, handling everything from doors and cabinetry to balustrades and bespoke shelving. Usually the last on site, he’s known as the all-seeing snag eye—making sure every final detail is finished to perfection before we hand over the newly completed AltoLoft.

Marlon

First Fix Specialist

From installing steel beams to fitting insulation, Marlon handles the crucial early stages of your loft conversion. He’s on site from day one, making sure everything’s perfectly prepared for the plastering phase.

Dunstan

First Fix Carpentry Expert

Dunstan specialises in the structural core of our loft builds, from floor and roof joists to timber stud partitions. As the longest-serving member of AltoLofts, he’s been with us since day one—bringing experience, precision, and a steady hand to every project.

Elliot

Plastering & Finishing Specialist

With over 10 years on the AltoLofts team, Elliot is our go-to expert for plastering and plasterboard installation. Known for his OCD-level attention to detail, he’s obsessed with achieving perfectly flat, smooth surfaces—a quality that makes him an exceptional plasterer and a true perfectionist where it counts.

Eddie

Bricklaying & Pointing Specialist

Eddie is our master of all things sand and cement, specialising in bricklaying and pointing with precision and care. With his loveable character and easygoing nature, every client warms to him instantly. Affectionately known as the “reliable uncle” of the team, Eddie brings steady hands, decades of experience, and a calm presence to every build.

Accounts Manager

Meticulous and detail-driven, Clare leaves no stone unturned when it comes to keeping our finances in check. She ensures every penny goes exactly where it should, helping keep your loft conversion running smoothly from start to finish.
